Evergreen Lake House Wedding | Denver Wedding Photographer | Christine and Nick

Okay, this needs to be said, Evergreen Lake House is absolutely breath taking.  Every time I’ve photographed a wedding there the light does something magical.  RAIN or shine this place is stunning.  And what a day for Christine and Nick.  We started out at the most gorgeous salon in Denver called Fluff.  Chandeliers, gorgeous natural light, stunning exposed brick…just an all around classy place to get ready at with your girls. Their hair and makeup was amazing!  Then we headed over to Haven.  And yes, cute cozy cabins nestled into the woods with a gorgeous creek running through it…it was a little piece of heaven inside Evergreen.  Christine had surprised Nick with a custom made cologne from one of their favorite trips that they had taken together.  Seeing Nick’s face as he read her personal note to him and then seeing the surprise when he saw my husband on the label…SO special.  That was one of my favorite things about these two.  They take SUCH special care of each other and loved surprising each other with sweet things all through out the day.  Nick had given her a beautiful journal and had written on the bottom of her shoe how excited he was to be her husband.  YOU guys…they just naturally love one each other like this.  Definitely was an inspiring love story.

And I need to just say I have never seen a bride like Christine WEAR her dress like she did.  What do I mean by that…I quite literally mean she was hiking and walking around with it…yes, we were careful but not where it was the main focus of gently placing it everywhere.  I think I was a little more nervous about it than she was…haha…which makes me laugh.  Adventure in her soul.

Which brings me to their gorgeous epic photos.  I was telling Nick as we were walking through some tall grass and I was making a TON of noise, that I’m terrified of snakes.  Yes, I literally am ALWAYS in the tall grass and mountains and I know its only a matter of time for me. 😉 So I had Nick and Christine up on this rocky part and I’m headed up there to help Christine get down and Nick almost tackles me and says, hey I got this.  I was thinking OOOOHHHKKKAAYYY. 😉 But then he said don’t want you to freak out but there is a snake right by Christine.  Haha…I totally panicked.  But it was just a sweet little snake sunning itself on the rock.  I’m going with that.  Christine’s like oh its just a snake. 😉 That was enough adventure for me for the day though.

You guys!!!!  I also need to mention the breath taking floral work by Project Floral.  The custom arches, tables dripping with floral work, and candle light…simply one of the most gorgeous set ups I have seen in a while.  And that is saying something as we have incredible talent here in Denver.  Their ceremony backdrop overlooking the lake with people out enjoying the sunny weekend and the beautiful floral arches…it reminded me of this couple…adventure with all the class.  Haha…These two could not have chosen a better more ideal place for their vows at Evergreen Lake House.  What an experience they shared with their friends and family.  And I could not be more happy than to have gained two new friends.  I love how Nick and Christine were just so incredibly grateful for their day.  From the vendors that worked for them to their guests that shared in the day…you could see that they appreciated everyone.  Two beautiful souls that I could not be happier to have worked for!  Here are a few of my favorites from their day.  If you’d love to follow more of my work you can find me on my facebook page
