This was such an incredible wedding to photograph with my sister Jen. The whole day was filled with so many details that its hard to figure out where to start on describing this couples day. Rori is someone you simply want to know when you meet her. She laughs easily and makes everyone around her feel so special. Matt, with his southern accent..haha, Jen and I wanted him to keep talking just to hear it. He makes Rori smile like no one else. The first dance…you could just see how much he loves her. Or the way he looked at her in such happiness when she walked down the aisle towards him…one of the reasons I love photographing weddings. I get to have a front row to incredible life changing moments for my couples.
The Mile High Station, the urban and eclectic lighting, the brick walls….perfect backdrop for Matt and Rori’s wedding. Their tables were set with gold vases, and stunning roses, with wood detailing signs that Rori worked on herself. From the time you entered the building to the last dance, you felt all the personal touches that Rori and Matt had worked on with their friends to make this wedding so unique and fun. I loved how much her Dad was a part of this beautiful wedding even though he passed away a few years ago. She had a piece of one of his ties sewed into her wedding dress. A seat for him with a beautiful photo with her sisters. And a dance where her loved ones would dance with her in honor of his memory.
These are the little details that I love to photograph. And that I get to hand over beautiful moments that will be remembered by Matt and Rori for years to come…its such an honor and privilege every time I get behind my camera. Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful wedding day. May you always find love, laughter and happiness in your marriage! Congrats Rori and Matt!

Just beautiful! This almost makes me want to take more weddings…
Girl, I can not. This is so perfect! The brick and the tones. It doesnt’ even look real…great job!
Normally I’m admiring your amazing mountain/outside style, but I’m totally digging this vintage, urban feel and you rocked it as usual. The tones is these are just stunning, and every detail and image just look magazine perfect!
What an incredible story!!!!! You rock the storytelling!!!! And those details Elizabeth! Swoon!
