This session took my breath away. As always, the Cherokee Ranch and Castle simply sets itself apart from other venues in Colorado. Its hard to compete with a Castle that sits itself on a hill with beautiful stunning views. I love the drive in…its rambling long dirt road and you kind of wonder if you are in the right place several times along the way. But there are gorgeous fields, scrub oak, tall trees…its gorgeous. It opens right up and you see how beautiful the Castle is from a distance.
This setting was the perfect backdrop for an engagement session with Erica and Geoff. Such a stunning couple. But what I loved about them was how easy it was to get to know them. Sharing stories of their engagement, how they met and their plans for next year. They are definitely an easy couple to photograph. Both so beautiful at first glance but I loved who they were as a couple. I simply can not wait to photograph their beautiful wedding next summer. But for now, I’d love to share a few favorites from their engagement session.

Congrats Geoff and Erica. So honored to be your photographer! <3
Love the light in all of these images. Also, her ring is to die for!
Umm, think they let horses in there? Cause I need a castle photo session in my life! Of course, your work is beautiful even when it’s not in a castle, and I love the way you used the light in these. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
Oh, Elizabeth! These are simply stunning. I LOVE the portrait you captured of them by themselves. So stunning and they clearly felt so comfortable with you. Amazing job!
Ahhh! The light, her ring, their connection… And I’m always a sucker for a leather jacket.
Absolutely stunning, as always! Loving the fall colors in this engagement!
