Silverthorne Town Pavillion is surrounded by beautiful mountains and a gorgeous creek that runs along the back of the venue. A trail where you can walk along side it surrounded by big pine trees and aspens. At the time of this wedding for Amanda and Cory it was holding on to fall in just a few places. I loved the way the leaves scattered across the creek. So beautiful and brilliant in color as the sun hit it. Jen and I had arrived early to walk around and get our thoughts for the day and Amanda was in the parking lot and saw us and gave me a big hug. She has a smile that is simply impossible not to smile back. It captures her whole face and her eyes light up…beautiful. Amanda and Cory are originally from Chicago (I’m SURE they are freaking out about the Cubs winning 🙂 ) and found me through google. Thank you Google 😉 Jen and I immediately felt right at home with this sweet couple as we grew up in Illinois.
This was a destination wedding for them. But many of their friends and family live in Colorado so it made perfect sense for them to get married in the mountains. I loved that it was a simple and classic wedding…so true to Amanda and Cory’s nature. The friends and family that gathered around them to watch and support them sharing their vows…that was what this day was about. I loved that Amanda and Cory’s emotion was so obvious in their expressions with how they laughed and loved on each other through out the day. And probably one of my favorite things about this couple is that they included their fur baby Cheif. 🙂 He’s blind and absolutely ADORES Amanda and Cory. They would call for him and he would find them by the sound of their voice. SO adorable. I probably could have photographed him the whole time haha.
So much to love about this wedding. And I’m beyond excited to share a few of my favorites. I’ve shared a few more over on my facebook page if you’d like to see it click on this link:
At the end of this post will be all the lovely vendors that helped make this beautiful wedding possible for Amanda and Cory. Many blessings to Amanda and Cory’s new marriage. I am simply honored to have been part of your beautiful wedding!

Ooh I love that they included their dog, even though he’s blind. I have a huge place in my hearts for blind dogs, and pointers. Gah!
Aw, this is where I got married! Such a beautiful place, and you documented everything so well! Love the Their canvas guestbook, and all the other cute details!
Wow, love your style! These are gorgeous!
So beautiful!! Love their portraits! Her dress is perfect, and I love that they included their pup!!
I love the tones in your ring photo. Beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful! What a gorgeous bride — and that dress is stunning! You captured everything about this day perfectly.
I love the shot of her out on the rocks! She’s brave! I love the bokeh on the dance shots too!
