Deer Creek Valley Ranch Wedding

This wedding simply put was amazing.   I was blown away by Blakelee and Angie’s happiness.  I mean, yes, you are happy on your wedding day.  But the way they so easily expressed it with their friends, family…for photos…it was just breath taking to me.  In part of the toasts Angie’s Dad mentioned that they were always laughing and it definitely rang true on their wedding day.  Going back over their wedding images had me smiling right back at them and reliving their rainy wedding day.   Yes, rain on your wedding day can still bring a huge smile on your couples face.  They simply shrugged their shoulders and said yes, lets capture our day as it happened, rain and all.   I loved that about them.   I also happen to think it made for some amazing  moments.

Have you ever been to the Deer Creek Valley Ranch?  If not you should tour this as one of your options for a wedding.  Its simply stunning.  I love that its so wide spread.  Angie and Blakelee chose to have their ceremony over in the prairie by the covered bridge.  The rain stopped just long enough for them to share their vows.  Views of the mountains and a creek running near by it was amazing.   I think one of my favorite spots at this venue is the row of big tall pine trees and the way the road curves.  One of my favorite groomsmen shots was taken from there and you can see it in the blog.  The barn lit up at night and the guests dancing makes for such a fun venue!    The florals that Prive Events added through out the venue and at the ceremony site were stunning!  And added votive candles and wood accents…just gorgeous!    So many talented vendors helped make this beautiful wedding for Blakelee and Angie!  I will list all of them at the end of this post.  They are people I would all recommend to work with!

To Blakelee and Angie, thank you for being such a beautiful and gracious couple.  It was wonderful being part of your day and sharing in that happinesss.  I simply wish you both the best and I’m truly honored to have been chosen as your photographer!
