Planet Bluegrass Wedding

When I get to the point of blogging a wedding its a moment where I’m a bit sad to let it go.  But I adore reliving them as I share a bit of the couples story.  And let me tell you this Planet Bluegrass Wedding was epic.  The location itself is stunning.  The walls that surround this venue, that is also set up to hold concerts through out the year, is so unique and beautiful.   A creek, river at times lol, runs on along the back of it and I was told by Mike he’d often set up his hammock during concerts on the other side.  It sounds like a perfect way to spend a summer night.   There were a lot of happy moments that its kind of hard to figure out where to start on this one.  I will say I think that Mike and Erica’s first look was one of my favorites I’ve ever photographed.   We were setting up Erica and she said hey Mike and he spun around and I’m like AHHHHHHHHHHHHH my camera.  Fortunately I grabbed and caught the spin.  He was SO excited to see her.  His expression was like Christmas morning for a kid and he reached out and hugged her so quickly.  Literally made me smile and laugh right a long with them.  That kind of happiness…it was the tone for the whole day.  I mean, the toasts that were shared had me laughing till tears streamed down my face.  I kid you not.  You’ll see from a few of the images how their friends had everyone laughing.  Gosh this was a fun crew to work with.  And the live band they had hired for the reception…The Fever.  WOW!  I was blown away by their charisma and ability to get the crowd off the seats and dancing all night long.  At the end of the night they had the crowd screaming one more song one more song.  They didn’t want them to quit.  Sign of a really good party for sure.
