If you know me you know I love gardens and all things flowers. I’ve been wanting to photograph a wedding at the amazing Brookside Gardens for a while now. And they so did not disappoint. The ceremony is surrounded by vines just beginning their new growth of honeysuckles and hanging baskets filled with flowers. They have a large running creek and waterfall running in the background and a beautiful manicured lawn that the kids loved running around on during the reception.
This place was the perfect event center for Lara and Eric’s wedding. And what a couple to photograph! They way Eric would look at Lara or offer to help with anything she might need was truly amazing to see. Lara laughed so many times at the little things Eric would say to her and I love that her biggest smiles that day were because of him. I also have to say I’ve never seen a groom run and slide half way across the dance floor to remove a garter and Lara’s face was priceless on that. Absolutely a stunning wedding and I simply can not wait to share a few of my favorites.
