Denver Backyard Wedding | David and Georgia

What does your wedding day look like for you?   What I love about my 2018 couples is that its what you want it to look like.  Traditions…some of them keep it.  Or some of them let go of what pinterest or that latest questionnaire on the knot says you have to have for your wedding.   For David and Georgia…they were married in December in a blizzard in their parents aspen forest in their home in the mountains.  They celebrated their wedding at their parents home exactly 6 months later.  I adored Georgia’s parents home.  Both of her parents are architects…well, actually ALL of the family is an architect.  But the design and the decor reflected such an artistic soul.  I love how it added to their day in the stunning gardens that surrounded the home and the design of the building.  Some of the details, the ring box and then the candle holders were designed and made by Georgia’s little sister.  Sign me up as a fan if you ever become a furniture designer!!!  🙂

There was music playing softly, guests and family mingled and caught up and you could hear glasses clinking and David and Georgia laughing all through out the night.  They had a friend and talented chef come in and make all the delicious and beautifully created appetizers and dinner.  I loved watching David check in on him and they would laugh about something together…clearly this couple is well loved.  I think for me, my favorite part about this beautiful Denver backyard wedding were the toasts.  Seriously, looking at the photos and the absolute gorgeous happiness and laughter on David and Georgia’s faces…this wedding celebration will be a favorite because of that.   The speeches, toasts…however you want to say it…clearly so well thought out.  SO meaningful and beautiful to see these friendships and families come together to celebrate a beautiful marriage.

SO yes, to celelbrations like this one.  Yes, to couples rethinking their day and how they want it to look.  I absolutely can not wait to share a few of my favorites from this sweet couples Denver Backyard Wedding celebration.  David and Georgia, you guys were an absolute dream to work with!  Thank you again for choosing me to be part of it!!   To my sister, I absolutely love anytime I get the chance to photograph a wedding with you!  Thank you for your talent on this beautiful couples day!  Follow her at http://jendriesbach.com/
