The Wedgewood in Boulder | Denver Wedding Photographer
The weather had been insane all week. I had texted Megan asking if she would have umbrellas ready for the day if we should get rain. And she said she was ready for rain or sunshine. I think that attitude is SO necessary for any July or August weddings. They tend to be our rainier months. But the sun decided to be the only weather we experienced for the day . It was perfection! And the Wedgewood in Boulder was so green and beautiful with the big tall cottenwood trees surrounding their ceremony site. One of my favorite things about the Wedgewood in Boulder is the creek that runs behind the ceremony site. Its a beautiful green grass trail that runs along it with rocks and boulders. So gorgeous. We chose to have their portraits for a portion of their session. Their sense of ease with each other and the way they would laugh and smile at each other made their photos so natural and beautiful to me. The easy friendships they have with their family and bridal party told me so much about their sweet character. Both of them are kind and so generous.
One of my favorites moments during Megan and Dustin’s wedding was during the ceremony. When Dustin saw Megan for the first time walking towards him you could tell how overwhelmed with emotion he was. Well, and the same for Megan. Just incredible to witness. I could not be happier for them!
All the soft and lovely tones of pink through out the reception at the Wedgewood with its big chandeliers made for such a classy wedding. Not to mention I loved the way the chandeliers create such a romantic ambiance during their first dances. And speaking of dancing…this wedding party knew how to have an incredible time. Even grandma was out there dancing it up to all the amazing music. Smiles to be had everywhere! I simply can not wait to share a few of my favorites from this gorgeous Wedgewood Boulder Wedding!
To Dustin and Megan, working with the two of you has been so amazing. You have been so incredibly encouraging and generous to me! I can’t thank you enough for choosing me as your wedding photographer. I wish you both the best in life!
