Every time I photograph a wedding at Flying Horse Ranch, I’m always impressed with how vast the property is. Gorgeous fields that lead your eyes right to Colorado Mountains at a distance. Sunsets are pure magic out there and I adore the barn and ballroom. You get the best of both worlds in this venue and I love that diversity.

We started off Stephanie and Craig’s beautiful wedding day at her parents house. I walked into beautiful light streaming into the windows with all the bridesmaids in cute robes and slippers purchased by Stephanie getting their hair and makeup done. The mood was cheerful and very laid back. I loved the small glances I would see Stephanie make towards her Mom that would lead towards huge grins on both of their faces. You could tell just how much effort and love they put into this day together and it was clearly a special time for them. All through out this day were special touches that these two and the many hands of friends and family helped to make it personal for Stephanie and Craig. There was a moment where Stephanie and her Mom looked at the set up for the ballroom and they started crying happy tears. To see all their details put together and the time they spent on that…it was so special to see and witness that bond.

The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Loreto. Absolutely a breathtaking church. Vaulted ceilings, natural light streaming in through windows, long cathedral aisles…it simply makes your jaw drop when you walk in. And it was stunning to see Craig and Stephanie share their vows and have full mass together here.

We headed back to Flying Horse Ranch to celebrate the rest of the day with Craig and Stephanie. With sparklers and traditional military swordsmen and women entrances the tone for their Denver Wedding was spectacular! The food was served family style which lends itself to a more intimate environment. Twinkling candles and glasses clinking all night…gosh I want to go back and repeat this spectacular Flying Horse Ranch Wedding. I can not wait to share a few of my favorites from their Denver Wedding. To Stephanie and Craig, I can not thank you enough for choosing me as your wedding photographer.
