Wedgewood Black Forest | Denver Wedding Photographer
Ahh, I’m so in love with the way the Wedgewood is surrounded by pine trees in Black Forest Colorado. It feel so incredibly magical the way the light filters through near sunset and it could not have been a more perfect day for Zach and Sheri. Two people who met in Jr. High and dated on and off through out highschool and College. Where they knew that they were meant for each other. Two soul mates to have found each other so young is so beautiful to me. I could see it in the way they interacted and laughed and teased each other through out the day. It was so apparent to me just how smitten Zach is with Sheri and how she is with him. Loved photographing their beautiful wedding and how Wedgewood at Black Forest had the place decorated for Christmas. The twinkly lights in the background was so beautiful! And I loved the pine cones and candle lights all through out the tables.
Zach and Sheri opted to have a first look to take advantage of the gorgeous winter light and have a later ceremony. Its so important when planning your wedding ceremony to ask your photographer when the best time for portraits will be. If you opt to not have a first look in the winter you might be photographing your formal portraits in the dark. So I’m incredibly thankful that Sheri and Zach opted for the best light for their portraits. 😉 And what a fun bridal party! I loved that Sheri chose to have her Mom be her maid of honor for their Black Forest Wedding. It was clear to me just how special their relationship was and I loved that she made it so special for her Mom. So sweet! And speaking of bridesmaids I’m pretty sure it should just be a given to have faux fur stoles for them in winter. Not only do they look so classy but they can be warm too!
