The Lodge at Breckenridge | Denver Wedding Photographer

What an incredible wedding to have been part of! The views at The Lodge at Breckenridge literally take your breath away. Its sits on the side of the mountain overlooking the city and the gorgeous mountains that surround the Lodge. What was fun about this April wedding was that we got to have all seasons in one ceremony. Lol. Yes, one ceremony. Which was about 30 minutes of extreme weather. It started off with full sunshine which at that altitude can make you hot really fast. The clouds rolled in and we had a spring shower…then this was my favorite part. The clouds stayed and you could see the snow falling down a few miles away from the ceremony. And the wind eventually blew that towards the end of their ceremony. A full on quick blizzard. It was incredible to see and made for such a magical first kiss for Jacob and Megan. Everyone toughed it out and it made for some quick and easy smiles towards the end of their vows. I adored that about this couple. They were going to be on that deck, rain or shine…or snow. I loved that they had their close friend marry them. It made for the sweetest and funniest personal stories. Laughter and tears mixed in and it was so obvious just how much these two cared for each other.

There is just so much to love about this gorgeous Breckenridge wedding at the Lodge! From the beautiful blue tones and florals all through out the reception to the delicious individual pies and desserts. So many personal and sweet touches to Jacob and Megan’s wedding. And the dancing! Ahhh, the way Megan’s dress would fan out and twirl…just a dream to photograph. Everyone stayed and partied to the end of the night!
