The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms | Denver Wedding Photographer
How do you feel about rain on your wedding day? For most its really not ideal. Would it change your whole day? Would you embrace it? Would your guests stand out in the rain and watch you share your vows with the love of your life? For Molly and Jake, the answer was to laugh and wish for sunnier days but they absolutely would not let it effect their beautiful wedding day. And you guys! The guests…they were all troopers and laughing right a long with them! Honestly, for me it made for some of the most incredible and unique wedding photos I’ve ever taken. Seeing the joy on Molly and her bridesmaids faces as they stood in the rain and took portraits is simply a memory I won’t forget. I adored the way Jake looked at Molly as she walked down the aisle towards him. Also, she was framed so perfectly by umbrellas…it was just so special!
I’ve never photographed the venue at Crooked Willow Farms and I was so in love from the first moment! So many gorgeous places to photograph and how charming the building was. I loved the ceremony site that overlooked the mountains. The fog had rolled in so we only got to seem them partially but it was still so stunning! The ballroom was dripping with flowers from the ceiling to the table tops! Seriously! Bello and Blue…you girls knocked this out of the park! I loved all the gorgeous mirrors that reflected all the candle lit tables.
Molly and Jake, seriously such a fun couple! I loved the way she would make Jake laugh or the way Jake tried to keep the rain off of Molly. Trust me that was a very hard task. I haven’t seen rain like this on a wedding day in a LONG time. But they clearly are a very loved couple. I loved the way they stopped to mingle with all of their guests and that dance floor was never empty. Just a high energy and fun amazing wedding day. I can not wait to share a few of my favorites from their beautiful wedding day at Crooked Willow Farms!
Thank you again Molly and Jake for choosing me as your wedding photographer! It has been absolutely incredible working with each of you. From our snowy engagement session to your rainy wedding day you guys were made for some extreme weather. 😉 Wishing you both the best in your next journey in life!
