Garden of the Gods Club Wedding | Colorado Destination Wedding
Colorado Springs is widely known for its epic mountain views of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. Its a place many travel to from all over the US. Its something I often forget as I live here and then I’m reminded with fresh eyes again oh yes, its truly majestic and beautiful to see. Candice and Connor both from out of state fell in love with the Garden of the Gods Club for there place they wanted to share their vows to each other. Its easy to see why when the Garden of the Gods Club offers an incredible uninhibited view of the mountains and Garden of the Gods. Just breathtaking.
When I walked into the room with Candice and her family laughing and getting ready and the complete sense of ease and joy that I saw in Candice I knew it would be an incredible wedding for me. Their hope when I spoke with Candice and Connor was that they wanted beautiful photos but they also wanted everything as simple as possible. A destination wedding for them meant their closest friends and family were invited but it wasn’t about all the details so much that many have for their beautiful weddings. But about the family, about the location (you’ll see why in their photos) and most importantly their love being celebrated together. Sign me up. I was ready for that and I loved that I was part of their gorgeous Garden of the Gods Club wedding. And you guys, there were two baby deers that drank from the pond before Candice and Connor’s wedding ceremony. It felt like a disney moment haha.
After they shared their vows we had the most incredible soft light for their portraits. Seriously, it was MAGIC you guys. The reflecting pond at Garden of the Gods Club made the setting sun off of Pikes Peak so beautiful. We then headed on over to the Garden of the Gods Golf Club and had such a beautiful and intimate reception. The food was incredible and lit by candlelight and the dancing was so much fun and sweet to watch. I absolutely adored getting to work with Candice and Connor and could not be more excited to share their wedding.
