Haystack Hearth Wedding | Melissa and Tim

It was my first time photographing a wedding at the Haystack Hearth and oh my goodness I was impressed. So many options and places I’d love to go back to and photograph again. Its the perfect intimate environment that lends itself to an elegant backyard wedding. They have a beautiful clear tent with market lighting that looked amazing at night with all the twinkling lights everywhere.

I met Tim and Melissa at their venue on their wedding day. I had been following Melissa on instagram and I felt like I knew her by the time I photographed their beautiful wedding. She was laughing at something one of her daughters said when I walked in and I knew instantly that her vibe was absolutely beautiful. Both of them really. Tim and Melissa invited everyone in to their gorgeous wedding and it felt so intimate and charming. I loved the boho classy style they had and that was made even more apparent with the stunning wild flowers everywhere. I adored Melissa’s flower crown and the wild flowers her daughter threw down the aisle before Melissa met Tim under the large cotton wood tree on the property.

Can I just say that the toasts that were given that night for Melissa and Tim’s Haystack Hearth Wedding had everyone laughing at tearing up right along with the couple. Some of my favorite images from the day were during those toasts and you could see how visibly content and in the moment they were. Melissa and Tim spoiled the guests with the most delicious dinner and had late night snacks of popcorn, smores bar and delicious freshly made pretzel bar with different sauces. You guys! It was just so much fun! I can not wait to share a few of my favorites of Melissa and Tim’s wedding.
