The Pinery at the Hill Wedding | Holly and Charlie
I love when I have the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Pinery at the Hill. You guys, its so classy, has views of the city and amazing views of Pikes Peak too. And the bridal suite at the Pinery at the Hill is incredible. So light and airy…and many who know me know that gets me every time. Not only that, but the added mirrors everywhere and fun textures through out the Pinery are the perfect touch. When I walked in to the bridal suite, Holly greeted me with the biggest smile and hug. She was so relaxed and so obviously enjoying the day with her friend and her mom. When I started photographing Charlie, the same could be said of him. This couple from the moment I photographed their engagement session to their wedding were simply so kind, funny, and up for anything. Holly and Charlie chose to have a first look at the Mesa Overlook. If you haven’t been its such a gorgeous overlook with uninhabited views of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Because they had such an awesome timeline they also chose to have their family portraits done. This allowed them a ton of time to enjoy not only their reception but the cocktail hour as well. I grabbed them for about 5 minutes at dusk to get those gorgeous city lights in the background. Seriously this is such a fun bonus at the Pinery at the Hill. I’m going to make all my couples go there now at dusk lol. SO pretty and offers a fun urban touch to your wedding.
I loved all the soft cream and pale pinks that Holly used throughout the reception and for their ceremony. Adding in the sparkle table numbers through out added just the perfect touch throughout. You can tell Holly had a well though out wedding plan. And I adored all the flowers that the Pinery added everywhere. Simple, classic and stunning. That is how I would describe this beautiful wedding at the Pinery on the Hill.
