The Pinery at the Hill Wedding | Mollie and Eric
October was a fun month of weddings for me. I actually got to be a Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer. Haha…I live in the Springs and I’m more of a Denver Wedding Photographer. So I love any chance I get to photograph the gorgeous Pinery at the Hill…not only because its closer to me but because it has so much gorgeous potential on photos…and I absolutely love working with everyone that works there. Win win.
For Mollie and Eric’s wedding, we had a mini snow storm right before their wedding. I thought we would have a winter wonderland for their day but in true Colorado fashion the day of their wedding ended up being a lovely warm temp. making their portraits much warmer than we anticipated. We started the day with Mollie and her bridesmaids and her mom in the beautiful bridal suite. It overlooks the city and is so gorgeous to photograph. Seriously, high five to the architect for that room. Just gorgeous. Mollie’s bridesmaids were a dream to work with and were so attentive to Mollie and anything she might need. I love seeing that! And the same could be said of Eric and his groomsmen.
Their beautiful Pinery at the Hill Wedding ceremony was inside the ballroom with the doors opened up overlooking Colorado Springs. I loved how the light filtered through the gorgeous drapery they had chosen on their aspen arch. I love when couples choose to have personal vows shared. It feels so intimate and intentional and the emotions are so apparent all through out…from the guests to Mollie and Eric.
One of my favorite things about Mollie and Eric’s Colorado Springs wedding was their creative use on the exit ideas. Mollie had found a pop up string confetti. Making it not only fun to photograph but incredibly easy to clean up! That was such a great idea and one I hope to see in more weddings!
I also loved everyone’s dance vibe. Seriously, Mollie and Eric out on the dance floor living it up with their friends and guests was so much fun to see and take part in. The happiness was so obvious in everyone that attended their Pinery at the Hill Wedding.
I simply can not wait to share a few favorites from their Colorado Springs Wedding. At the end of this post will be a list of all the talented vendors that helped make this wedding possible for Mollie and Eric. Mollie and Eric, I love that I get to see your latest adventures on the regular with instagram. But I’m even more thankful that I was part of such an amazing life moment for you guys. You are both so incredibly kind, beautiful souls and I wish you both the best on your new marriage.
