Chautauqua Park Engagement Photos | Anna, Jon and Sonny
Anna and Jon flew in for a quick weekend to celebrated Thanksgiving with their family. And on the day of their engagement session a blizzard was expected to breeze on in right as we originally planned for their engagement photos at Chautauqua Park. They easily adapted to heading out right in the afternoon. I wouldn’t normally suggest this time but it ended up being the perfect overcast day and the mountains really made for a gorgeous back drop. Towards the end of their engagement session the snow just started to come down. I was SO happy that I didn’t have a 2 hour commute in a blizzard for the way home. Haha. And I loved that we were able to capture some of that gorgeous snow for them.
I have to say that Sonny , their beautiful fur baby, really stole the show for me. The markings on his face really reminded me of a court jester or a clown. You’ll see…seriously the cutest. Also, he just might have been slightly attached to both Jon and Anna and wanted to only be right next to them. Soooo adorable.
Jon and Anna live in New York and I loved hearing about the adventures the two of them have all ready been on. The fact that they were best friends before dating AND the fact that Jon proposed on a mountain top. They are both so easy to laugh and discuss life with. I know their beautiful wedding in October will be surrounded by such a fun group of people and family. I can not wait!
