Ritz Carlton Denver Wedding | Claire and Chad
This was my last Denver Wedding for 2019 and what a wedding to finish out on! We started out at St. Vincent De Paul Church…and my architecture heart was SO incredibly happy. I love how beautiful the high vaulted ceilings and gorgeous arches were inside this church. Not only that but the beautiful natural light that filtered through the stain glass windows added such a stunning ambiance for Claire and Chad’s wedding ceremony. We were all warm and cozy on that cold winter day so I was thankful for an indoor Church Denver Wedding. I think my favorite moment in their ceremony was when Chad sang to Claire . I had no clue he could sing so it was a fun surprise to see that he could not only sing but sing really well. Everyone had tears in their eyes at such a sweet moment between these two.
Most of my communication with Claire and Chad had all been online up to their wedding. But I had wanted to check out both the Ritz Carlton and St. Vincent for portraits for them. So both Chad and Claire were game to scout around a bit for photos. What I loved about them was how much they relied on my expertise. They loved what they had seen on my instagram and my website and wanted me to get a feeling and vibe for their but would trust what I could bring to the table in my experience. I loved that! Which ended up leading me to Byron Courthouse for portraits for them haha. I adore leading lines and gorgeous tall buildings so much…my Grandpa was an architect so I always feel like I’m giving a nod to him when I approach images that revolve around buildings. We MAYBE had 15 minutes at this gorgeous spot as we were all incredibly cold. Claire was a true champ out there in her heels…well really the whole bridal party too. We had fun and then ran back to our cars…or big bus for the party and met everyone at the Ritz Carlton.
The Ritz Carlton in Denver has such a classy and elegant vibe to it. The gorgeous chandeliers and tables with candles and photos of each year Claire and Chad’s life…either together or from their childhoods. I thought that was such a fun and personal touch. I loved going through all the tables and seeing the different photos. They also had disposable cameras at each table and that was seriously so fun to watch the guests take photos of each other and laugh together. Such a great way of bringing everyone together.
I have to say the dance floor often is a place of surprise for me. I thought for sure it would take a while to get people out there and moving around but not for this couple or their guests. I loved when Claire and her grandma were dancing to Lizzo Truth Hurts. . Yes….Lizzo It was such a cute and fun moment. I absolutely loved reliving their beautiful wedding and getting look through their gorgeous Ritz Carlton Denver Wedding was so fun for me.
