Moss Denver Wedding | Lauren and Dan
The first weekend of the year and I got to spend it photographing the sweetest couple in one of the most unique wedding venues in Denver. I love photographing Moss. There is so much texture and amazing texture here. Gorgeous big tall windows that let in the most stunning natural light and at night…ahh, at night the lights from the city twinkle so magically. Then the chandelier room…guys this venue has SO much that was fun to photograph. I loved that there was no need to go anywhere else. And Dan and Lauren wanted to utilize all the interior space of Moss. And I was most certainly game. We chose to have a first look as their ceremony was going to take place after the sun had set. I always recommend a first look in the winter as you don’t get as much time to utilize that fabulous sun for photos. Dan and Lauren chose to read their vows to each other as part of their first look and I loved that added touch to their day. I think its often hard to have those pockets of time alone with each other so I would recommend grabbing them when they come as much as you can on your wedding day.
Ahhh, their ceremony was SO unique. I haven’t photographed one at night like that with the candles and city lighting up most of the space for their ceremony. It left such an intimate and quite vibe that I loved. Dan had such a big smile on his face watching Lauren walk down the aisle towards him. And that could pretty much be said for the two of them the whole day. Once they said their vows you could tell that the rest of the night was spent dancing, laughing and soaking up their friendships with their families and loved ones that traveled for their beautiful Moss Wedding.
