Colorado Elopement | Conner and Caroline
What an insane year guys. Seriously, wedding season at least in the first half of the year has changed from large gatherings to either a micro wedding (smaller guest count but still a full wedding) or eloping OR rescheduling to a later date. Conner and Caroline decided they would elope and have a small ceremony with their immediate family. They rented a gorgeous home with incredible views all around it. They hired me for an hour and will later on in November have a full wedding reception and vow exchange with their guests and extended family. I thought this was such a great idea and I was so incredibly excited to be part of this sweet couples life moments. Honestly it was the first time I had been back to work in a few months and I was just giddy to pick up that camera again. I know so many can relate.
I think what I loved most about this day was seeing just how incredibly intimate and special it was for their immediate family to have these moments with Caroline and Conner. The ceremony was made even more special by having Conner’s brother in law officiate. I LOVED how Conner would glance at Caroline and she would do the same. Having to adapt so much in the past few months but see their beautiful love shine through was so heart warming. They had originally planned to share their vows under the gazebo but Colorado once again decided to make them change plans. Rain or a pandemic couldn’t stop these two and I’m so thankful I could photograph their day for them!
