Denver Backyard Wedding | Danielle and Jake
2020 could be the year where the word best fitting for weddings is adapting. And Danielle and Jake went from plan A to plan B to plan C with such beautiful grace and optimism. I know many tears were had over this but it goes back to adapting. They knew they wanted to get married this year and they wanted to find a way that they could have their friends and family safely be part of it. Which brought up the backyard wedding idea. Honestly, Jake’s parents home could be a venue haha. It was SO gorgeous and had flowers, beautiful low growing trees and the perfect size for a large tent to be placed on it. They had their ceremony set up in the back and the tent in the front yard. Allowing guests to move from one part of the day to the next seamlessly.
I also loved that they had a temp check set up as the guests arrived. Guests could wear wrist bands signalling to other guests their level of comfort for distancing. Overall, safety needs were met and the party was a huge hit! I loved seeing everyone cheering on Danielle and Jake and dancing under the tent with glasses clinking. You guys, this wedding will be one for the books for sure!
I photographed Danielle and Jake for their engagement session earlier in the year so I had a ton of fun celebrating with them on their wedding day. These two have such an incredible connection and I loved listening to their personal vows to each other during the ceremony. I was laughing right along with the guests or tearing up in such sweet moments.
So, to Danielle and Jake, thank you for adapting in this crazy year. Thank you for trusting me with your wedding photos. And thank you for showing me such a beautiful and incredible love you guys have for each other.
