St. Mary’s Glacier Elopement | Alex and Alyssa
We met at the trailhead of St. Mary’s Glacier Elopement for an early am hike to an incredible view and even better memories. Alex and Alyssa’s family were all game to hike up for their elopement. Even though that altitude can be tough for hiking. You guys, this was seriously an amazing way to get married. I know Alex and Alyssa had plans for a big wedding this year…and yes, like many of my couples they have had to adapt and change plans. I’m so happy that they will be having a celebration with their friends and extended family next year! And I loved that Alyssa will be wearing a different dress to keep that day special and unique as well. But this elopement, it was so intimate. When they shared their vows everyone had tears in their eyes. From easy laughter or just with how breath taking it was to see two souls with such an incredible background committing their life together. It will always go down as a favorite moment for me. They shared champagne and then Alex’s brother turned on Skinny Love for their first dance. We all laughed when hikers would shout out congrats during their dance. Happiness was easily shared by this sweet family.
So if you are wondering if an intimate elopement in the mountains to hike in with your family is the right choice…I will say yes. It absolutely is. What a beautiful day and I’m so honored to have been part of Alex and Alyssa’s St. Mary’s Glacier Elopement.
