Larkspur Vail Wedding | Carly and Jack
Guys, this wedding was absolute fall perfection. It was so warm and sunny. And staring into those gorgeous mountains with the varies shades of yellow was incredible. If you have the chance to head to Vail this fall you absolutely should. Just gorgeous.
We started out with Carly and Jack’s wedding with a fun laid back feel. I actually arrived SUPER early to their wedding and Carly met me before she started hair and make up so we could scout out a spot she picked for a first look. It was nestled in right where they were staying with gorgeous stone work and random amazing doors. Seriously, perfection When I headed back to their room all the ladies, the makeup and hair crew…it would seem like mass chaos haha. But it was organized and fun. Mimosa’s were shared. The flower girls had cartoons on playing on ipads. And I loved Carly’s gift to her bridemaids. Fanny packs…which I was SO jealous of. But anyway, it allowed for a ton of funny moments with her crew. Everything about their day was so cheerful and uplifting. It was a celebration and so amazing to see how her friends and her family loved on her. I also just need to say that her grandma is the sweetest and I wanted to adopt her as my own too. One of my favorite things about weddings is getting to meet family. I know how important the day is to capture all the ins and the outs…and most of them for me revolve around the special relationships my couples carry with their family.
Jack and Carly wanted to have photos with their party in downtown vail…and we pretty much took up the WHOLE space walking in the streets haha. I loved it. Everyone cheered them on…and it felt like I was working a celebrity wedding lol. The star of the day for me was their adorable fur baby Tucker. His beautiful fur was the perfect match for that golden fall too. Plus, he’s just the cutest thing ever.
