Colorado Springs Engagement | Amanda and Stefan

When Amanda mentioned she’d like to have all 4 dogs in their engagement session I agreed whole heartedly. Haha…it added the wild card element as you never know who they will all act and if you’ll get everyone looking at the camera together…its touch let me tell you. But it also breaks up the ice a bit when you are meeting a couple for the first time and everyone is really on board to help with the dogs. Add in how incredibly adorable their fur babies are and it was a session I’ll remember for a long time.

Amanda and Stefan were game to explore Colorado and any place that represented mountains for them would be amazing. Colorado Springs is often known for Garden of the Gods but let me tell you we have SO many incredible places with gorgeous views. You just have to be willing to hike a little and fight off a good parking spot. Haha…everyone loves a good hiking trail here and I just happen to know of a few hidden gems that might not have 500 people that we have to navigate. Just might have to for a parking spot. Also, another thing to note when looking for the perfect spot for portraits is that the sun sets well before sunset time when you are in certain spots of the mountains. Timing that is often tricky and I’m SO happy we were able to get that soft light just as it slipped behind the trees for Stefan and Amanda.

You guys! This was such a fun Colorado Springs Engagement session for me. I adored how easily they made each other laugh. Their ability to adapt to whatever their fur babies needed and hiking AND getting their photos taken…just a fun couple to get to know. I can not wait to share a few of my favorites from their beautiful engagement session.
