Garden of the Gods Elopement | Stefan and Amanda
I received a phone call from Amanda a few weeks after their engagement session asking if I’d be available for an elopement. Stefan at the time was going to have to be gone for half the year and they wanted to share their vows together before he left. I said ABSOLUTELY yes. I loved working with them and elopements are just so special and intimate. Their family flew in and several drove to be there on the side of that mountain overlooking Garden of the Gods. We were so fortunate with the quick weather change in Colorado that weekend as it warmed up quite a bit. If only I could control that cold wind haha. But I loved the added drama it created through out.
I adored watching her family with their cell phones or cameras capturing every moment with Stefan and Amanda. The way they laughed and cried together and shared in their beautiful elopement was everything I’d hope for in a vow ceremony. I can tell just how loved Amanda and Stefan are by their family. Not only was their family so supportive of this Garden of the Gods elopement but Amanda’s sister in law made her gorgeous bouquet! I was shocked. So artistic and lovely.
Both Stefan and Amanda have such a fun and easy dynamic with each other. I loved how they laughed through parts of their vows and shed a few tears. Amanda’s brother officiated and made it so personal and amazing to listen to. I highly recommend having a loved one officiate your vows if you can. Its so special!
