Hearth House Venue | Jordan and Chelsea
Its currently 5 degrees out and I’m working on blogging Jordan and Chelsea’s beautiful summer wedding from last year at Hearth House in Monument. I find myself jealous of my summer time work haha. Absolutely loving this trip down memory lane today. This day was filled with friends and family gathering from all over the country to celebrate with Jordan and Chelsea. I met Jordan (aka Jordy) through crossfit at a local gym called Crossfit Endemic. What I love about Jordan is his sense of humor. He’s often sarcastic and has the dad jokes on point. I loved watching their dynamic at their wedding. Making Chelsea smile through out the day was so beautiful! Chelsea, I would describe as introverted. But not on the dance floor haha. I love how open and honest she is with her family and friends. She develops such strong and fierce friendships. These two could not be a more perfect match. They chose to share their personal vows to each other at their first look. I thought that was such an incredible idea! I loved how it set the tone the rest of the day. And lets be honest, quite down moments are rare and hard to find on a wedding day.
The Hearth House sits right in downtown Monument, Colorado. It has such a beautiful and elegant farmhouse vibe right from the outside. There is a chalkboard that offers some fun and unique options for couples to announce to their guests the new couple! I also love the courtyard that is surrounded by trees, market lighting, and tall grass. Making it a perfect spot to have a ceremony on a sunny day. One thing that was unique during Jordy and Chelsea’s wedding was they had their rings sent through the crowd for guests to pray over or offer up all the sweet positive vibes for them. I loved it! It brought something so personal for the ceremony. Not only that, but Chelsea’s brother married them. So special! I adore the attention to detail that Hearth House had into the getting ready rooms. The bridal suite has such gorgeous natural window light. Creating options indoors for portraits is always a win for photographers. As we often have to time light around all parts of the day.
This wedding moved so perfectly into the night. All the guests were feeling the fun music provided by the DJ and made everyone feel right at home out on the dance floor. I can’t stress this enough, DJ’s make the party or can easily break it. Haha…choose wisely.
Jordy and Chelsea, I loved getting to be your wedding photographer. So many incredible moments on your wedding day. Seeing that happiness you share with each other was so sweet to be part of it. Thank you for trusting me with your wedding.
