Larkspur Vail Wedding | Carly and Jack
Carly and Jack shared their personal vows with immediate family and their wedding party in 2020. The pandemic was tough on the wedding industry and larger events and couples had to get creative on their celebrations. I loved that we were able to use the Larkspur for both of Carly and Jack’s events. In 2020 we started with getting ready details and moved to portraits and wedding ceremony through out Vail. The reception would follow in 2021…and what a reception it was!
The celebrations in 2021 were well worth the wait. In true Colorado style we had rain, sunshine and snow all in one day. For Carly and Jack this was merely part of their day and nothing to stress about. I loved that they explored through out downtown Vail and we got to have some gorgeous moody weather just past Larkspur in the mountains for portraits. This year they were also expecting a son to arrive later on in 2021. So friends and family that gathered with them in 2021 were able to also celebrate their newest adventure as a couple. Fall was still showing off all through out Vail and I could not have been more excited to be there to see it. Aspen trees of yellows and orange in the mountain range are some of our states major bragging points. So if you are looking to truly see Vail shine you can’t go wrong having a wedding in October.
The Larkpur has an incredible dining experience for guests during receptions. Several courses of delicious and creative plates mixed in with toasts between courses. This made for such an intimate and beautiful reception. I loved the obvious laughter and happiness on everyone’s faces as they shared stories and memories with Jack and Carly. I loved at the end of all the toasts Carly’s dad had all the staff and chef’s stand up and everyone cheered and clapped for them. Just a beautiful example of gratitude on an incredible night.
We moved into a large great room inside of Larkspur that had a stage with The Mannequin the band. You guys! They are amazing, fun, upbeat and will have your guests dancing in now time and singing along right with them. Going through all these images has me wanting to go back and experience this beautiful reception again!
Carly and Jack, I’ve so enjoyed getting to know you guys through out the last few years working with you. Your sweet engagement and getting to meet your puppy and then sharing your wedding vows and reception were incredible memories for me. I wish you both the best and I love getting to see your latest and fun adventures on instagram. Thank you thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer!
