Evergreen Lake House Wedding in Colorado | Kyle and Kelly
What a beautiful wedding celebrating with Kyle and Kelly at the Evergreen Lake House. One of my favorite places to visit for a quick weekend. If you’ve never been Evergreen is a must see! The cutest downtown with delicious restaurants and craft beer. The lake is right in the middle of town and has paddle boarding and canoes to rent. The Lakehouse is absolutely stunning with its big tall vaulted ceilings and lodge atmosphere. Its the perfect Colorado wedding venue! Not only that, wild life…guys, this place is amazing to see elk, moose, muskrats, its always fun to see who will be a wedding crasher in the animal world for Colorado.
Kyle and Kelly, these two were so fun to spend the day with. Kelly had access to a friends house to get ready at and what a stunning place! Right in the middle of the forest with views of the mountains just off the back. It made for an amazing private spot for Kyle and Kelly to have a first look. I always photograph the first look moment but then walk away so my couples can have some time to just take it all in. I love that and its one of those moments I wish I had with my husband on our wedding day. I tend to be overly emotional so if I could have just had that private instead of every person seeing that at my wedding. 😉
Having that private access gave us access to one of the most beautiful fields and creeks I’ve gotten to photograph in Evergreen. Didn’t have to photoshop anyone out haha. This wedding party was not only helpful in anything Kyle or Kelly needed but also helped me and Chelsea out as well. Such an amazing crew! Also, it needs to be stated, the flowers matched the girls gowns! I was so in love with this creative and obviously meticulous details. Well done to Petal and Poppy.
Kyle and Kelly, thank you so much for trusting me with your beautiful Evergreen Lakehouse Wedding! You guys had such fun details, sweet heartfelt toasts from your friends and family, and showed me such a beautiful way to celebrate! I loved the dessert table that was created by your friends and family with their own personal cookies. I hope to see more of that family style love in more weddings this year. Wishing you both the best in your new marriage!
