Wedding at Spruce Mountain Colorado | Amanda and Mike
The excitement I have in being able to actually write this blog post and its being updated to 2023 era needs to be stated. Haha…what a week of technology knowledge overdose. I am just a girl wanting to share my gorgeous wedding season with my people. Sign me up for the easy button. Technology…you either keep up or get left behind. So this past week was a challenge but I rose to it. 😉
Okay, that being said, lets dive into Amanda and Mike’s beautiful Spruce Mountain Wedding! You guys, if you’ve never been to this beautiful wedding venue in Colorado its a must see! Its a huge sprawling space that actually has several venues without even knowing the other is there. Amanda and Mike were married at the upper ranch that is stunning with its wide open fields and rolling mountain views. I’ve always loved the tall grass and rustic vibe this ceremony brings. It has two huge doors that open into this outdoor space for vows. The reception area has market lights and a big fireplace that allows guests to move inside or out with ease. Its such a great place for guests.
Amanda and Mike opted to do a first look for their wedding. Which I absolutely love. It allows for a more private moment for the couple to either share vows or just have more time on their wedding day together. I can’t say it enough…weddings go fast. Especially with all the guests coming from out of town you’ll want to have time to visit with all of them. Have photos taken before allows for more photo time (hint hint…thats a win every time 😉 ) and more time with guests. When Mike saw Amanda I loved how in the moment he was. They hugged instantly and I could see the emotion on both of their faces. The wedding party joined them soon after and what a fun crew they were! I’m so glad we opted to have portraits before with them as we had some pretty big rain during the ceremony. YES the ceremony. One of my favorite moments was when Amanda’s maid of honor held an umbrella over her so that she wouldn’t get drenched. No worry about her self but for Amanda. LOVE to see that sweet friendship.
The reception has the coolest Rocky Mountain Burros with drinks for guests. Yes, happy hour brought smiles to all the guests for more reasons then one. What a fun highlight for their wedding at Spruce Mountain. So many hands went into making this day possible for Amanda and Mike and I loved how both of them were so gracious and kind to everyone. It was easy to see how so many wanted to celebrate their love and happiness.
Amanda and Mike, thank you for being so amazing to work with! I loved watching you guys through out the day with all your friends and family. You guys simply radiated joy. Wishing you both success and happiness in your new adventures together! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your gorgeous wedding at Spruce Mountain.
