Beaver Creek Wedding | Spruce Saddle Lodge

Destination weddings in Colorado are so incredible to be part of. Sam and Marisa chose to share their vows on top of the mountain in Beaver Creek that can only be accessed by guests through a ski lift. Talk about making an entrance! Once guests arrive they were taken to the Beaver Creek Wedding deck. Surrounded by gorgeous wild flowers and mountains its simply a stunning place to be. Not only that, I loved that the ceremony had a surround stadium setting. Not a bad seat anywhere for guests to take part in for the wedding.

Sam and Marisa got ready in town in these beautiful townhomes that they rented. They shared a private moment before traveling on foot through town with their whole wedding part to take photos at the top of the mountain. Chelsea and I absolutely loved their whole wedding crew and family. From the first moment meeting everyone they welcomed us in. And photographing them all coming up the mountain on ski lifts will be a highlight to the wedding season for me. SO much fun!

This Beaver Creek Wedding was dripping with stunning floral work by Earth Tones Floral. I loved that if felt like a garden inside Spruce Saddle Lodge. Greenery on posts, tables with candles and moss and beautiful flowers. One of my favorite details on their wedding was the canopy of flowers that they shared their beautiful Jewish wedding under. Its not often I photograph a Jewish wedding so the traditions they shared during their ceremony were new to me. The Ketubah was a signed before the ceremony and Marisa and Sam were surrounded by their parents and siblings. This is essentially a marriage contract but with a lot more beautiful meaning than I can describe. All through out they day I loved how involved their family was in helping make this day amazing for them. The toasts, guys, front row seat to such well prepared speeches that had everyone laughing and crying. I loved how Sam and Marisa would glance at each other through it all. Sam and Marisa, you guys were both such gracious and kind people to be around. I loved getting to photograph your engagement session and meet your gorgeous fur baby and then to be part of your wedding was so amazing! You both share such a beautiful love and I’m thankful to be part of your story! Congrats again to you guys and wishing you both the best in all your latest adventures.
