Evergreen Lakehouse Wedding in Colorado | Marianthe and Dan
Taking you back to the beautiful Evergreen Lakehouse in Evergreen Colorado. This charming mountain town still manages small town vibes while being a very popular spot for travel in Colorado. Evergreen has amazing eclectic restaurants and fun shops to get lost in for a few hours. One of my favorite things about this town is all the wonderful hikes you could go on. And of course that includes the amazing Evergreen Lake. It sits right in the middle of the town and has an amazing boardwalk to discover wildlife as well as a boathouse to rent paddle boards or canoes. The Lakehouse has views from the front and back of all the Colorado mountains and lake. Often when couples get married you’ll see people off to the side on the lake sharing in the beautiful wedding. The Evergreen Lakehouse has a rustic elegance that make for stunning weddings. I loved that Marianthe and Dan had a boho vibe for their wedding with the tall pampas grass on their arch as well as eclectic rugs running down the aisle to their ceremony site. Her dress…ahhh, I was so in love with the soft cap sleeves. Such an elegant touch that was feminine and flattering. Also, I loved that rain, while its not everyone that can crush a rain storm on a wedding day. But these two and their wedding party absolutely made those storms no problem. I was so happy that it passed over for their ceremony too.
Marianthe and Dan…I have to say I loved that I got to know them through social media before actually meeting them for the first time on their wedding day. Marianthe and Dan both are witty and have a fun sense of humor. Also, they love cats so I naturally bonded over that. 😉 I thought I knew what to expect on their wedding day. But Dan surprised me with his vows to Marianthe AND their first dance. You can’t help but assume someone will fit a mold and then when they don’t I love it. These two are very easy to be around. The confidence they shared in each other and with their friends and family showed what deep relationships they share with all that were there on their wedding day. I loved their wedding party and all the dancing that happened on their wedding day. Again, you sometimes think…hmm, I wonder if this will be a quiet dance floor and then I’m surprised when it was absolutely not haha. Marianthe and Dan, your wedding was so amazing to be part of. I watched you guys handle the rain and storms with grace and happiness. I saw how you two loved each other and made the other laugh. And that first dance…happy memory for me seeing you guys with that choreographed magic. Wishing you two the best in your marriage! Thank you so much for having me be part of so many beautiful moments.
