Blanc | A Denver Wedding Venue | Will and Amanda

So this wedding was a dream to photograph. I’m often in the mountains or foot hills of Colorado when I’m photographing weddings. But this one…ahh, so fun to be downtown Denver for Amanda and Will’s wedding. We started at the Ramble Hotel for getting ready portraits. Let me just say, this hotel is a must see and place to stay. Gorgeous roof top views that overlook such fun and eclectic urban buildings. I loved the courtyard that we were able to use for some of Amanda and Will’s portraits. While it happened to be one of the hottest days of the summer we were able to slip inside for some much needed air conditioned breaks haha.

We then headed on over to Blanc. Gosh I love this venue. It feels like a hidden gem in the city. You walk into Blanc and brick walls, gorgeous wall to wall windows and this beautiful courtyard sits in the back. Trees fill in the sides and plants and vines through out. One of my favorite details at the Blanc is this rusted out sliding door…with rows upon rows of windows. You guys, when the light hits it at sunset it looks golden. I loved the way Hutson Florals added in a ceremony arch in front of it. I know from talking with Amanda and her mom just how much time and detail they put into planning a beautiful space for guests to enjoy and the flowers were a big part of that. The way the candles and market light created such an intimate dining experience was just magical. Add in all the flowers…it kind of felt like a secret garden.

I think one of my favorite moments on this wedding were the personal details shared during the ceremony and the toasts given. I love getting to see pieces of what makes my couples smile and laugh or tear up. Shout out to Amanda’s sister…those toasts. I know she mentioned she was a writer but STILL so beautiful.

Amanda and Will, thank you so much for allowing me into your beautiful day. Watching you celebrate with your family and friends was so much fun to be part of! Wishing you both the best in all your latest adventures!
