Three Peaks Ranch Colorado Wedding | Amber and Lucas

This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Three Peaks Ranch. Absolutely gorgeous spaces for couples to take advantage of there. I walked into what was used as a bridal suite and immediately wanted to have a home like that someday for myself haha. Its SO beautiful. Tall vaulted ceilings, a screened in front porch, beautiful windows and eclectic and homey details that reminded me of Chip and Joanna Gaines style…the newer version. 😉 There is a wall that had three beautiful mirrors that made it easier for everyone to get ready together…AND it looked beautiful too. I love when function meets style any day. Amber greeted me with the biggest smile and happiness literally just danced in her expression. I love that about her. She simply made me feel like we had been friends forever. I feel like some of the images from their wedding actually bring me back to the sounds…they were practicing their choreographed dances and laughing with music softly playing. It was a whole mood for their day and I’m glad it started with that.

The way Three Peaks Ranch set up these homes on their property allowed for the guys to be out and about with out ever seeing Amber and her bridesmaids. So Heather and I would be able to go back and forth for getting ready and some fun portraits with ease. Gosh I loved both Amber and Lucas’s crew that they surrounded themselves with. Lucas and his groomsmen were on the back patio of another gorgeous home on the ranch…within walking distance to where Amber was. And yes, this is also another time I wanted to just repeat everything someday for my own home. That back patio had an outdoor fireplace and really offered a really amazing place for the guys to hang out, drink whiskey and maybe sing? Haha…it was a first for me but these guys could really sing. I remember them singing the pirates of the Caribbean with the foggy day…it will be one of those weddings that brings back a sound memory for me.

Where Amber and Lucas shared their vows was beautiful. While I know those mountains would have taken our breath away, Colorado decided to give us moody foggy weather. I loved that both Lucas and Amber took it all in stride and made such an incredible day celebrating with their friends and family. Their vows they shared to each other had everyone tearing up and laughing. The celebrations continued in the beautiful barn with market lights and a cozy fire inside. Delicious tacos were served and the toasts began. Again, these two seriously have fun friends and family. Those toasts were amazing and I loved getting to have a glimpse at the impact Amber and Lucas have on their friends.

I remember walking back to my car at the end of the night and seeing the dancing still going on and thinking I really love my job. This was an incredible day and I’m so thankful I was part of it. Wishing you all the best Amber and Lucas! You guys were a dream to work with!
