Hearth House Venue | A Colorado Wedding | Dani and Joe

June was a wild month for weather for most of my Colorado Weddings this past year. Being willing and able to adapt is a must for Colorado Couples. Dani and Joe absolutely love to explore Monument and spent much of their dating relationship hiking and exploring Mt. Hermon. So it was always a special place for them and they really wanted to have their wedding day photos there. Of course on the day of their wedding it was forecasted to have CRAZY rain. We really only had one small window of time where it was possible it wouldn’t rain. So Dani and I on the morning of their wedding made the decision to have a first look at the foot hills in of Mt. Hermon. That was not our original plan haha. BUT, the photos taken there would be more important than that first look down the aisle. Joe and Dani got to share a moment just the two of them with their photographers of course discretely off to the side lol. And you know what…the rain happened and then went away for the rest of all of their portraits. A true Colorado Wedding day miracle. And just as we made our way back to the Hearth House to get Dani and Joe married the weather just dumped so much hail. I have never seen anything like that…the streets were all flooded! Just wild but I loved that the Hearth House has a gorgeous option inside as well.

Dani and Joe shared their vows with their friends and family and their sweet fur baby. One of my favorite things about Dani was her ability to laugh and be absolute sunshine while I know she was hoping for better weather. I loved that this day was special and beautiful because of how these two brought their own unique and sweet way of caring for the other. That being said, the cake moment…this had to have been the funniest thing I have ever witnessed. Neither of them held back and I could tell that they will have a lifetime of being competitive with the other but all in good fun. So many special touches to this day that were made possible by their friends and family. From the beautiful repurposed gown that Dani wore which was her Mom’s wedding dress. To the way each of her bridemaids helped with hair or makeup. This was such a sweet wedding to be part of and I’m so honored to have been there! Dani and Joe, thank you for sharing your day with me! Both of you brought such an amazing energy and I simply wish you both the best in your new marriage!
