A Denver Wedding at the Woodland Mosaic and Orangery at Denver Botanic Gardens
It was an absolutely beautiful and stunning Colorado wedding celebrating with Collin and Racheal. I photographed Collin’s sisters wedding a few years ago and it was so fun to be able to see all the family back together again for Collin and Racheal’s wedding. I feel like I could go back to this gorgeous venue a million times and it completely photographs different every time. And the Woodland Mosaic at the Denver Botanic Gardens…ahhh, its truly something magical. A solarium tucked into the back of the garden with a winding trail with ferns, gorgeous trees, and flowers so expertly placed through out. Add in market lights and the way the light filters in is just beautiful. A touch of whimsy on your wedding day? YES please every time.
I met up with Collin and Racheal at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver. Racheal’s suite overlooked Denver and I loved that she had her mom there with her and her closest friend. A quiet start to the day when a wedding can be a mad dash from start to finish is a great way to calm wedding nerves and just set the tone. Racheal has such an ethereal beauty about her as well. And I have to say Collin absolutely knows how to make her laugh. These two have such a sweet way of interacting and its quite obvious how the two adore the other.
So many moments to love about their wedding! For their flower girls they had given them flowers to hand out to their family before Racheal walked down to Collin. Such a charming entrance! Also, I loved how they had a small intimate family gathering for their vows and then had a larger reception at the Orangery with their guests and friends joining in at the cocktail hour. Having a wedding day be catered to how you want it to unfold…lets do that! I think I’m seeing a lot more breaks from traditional wedding’s and more moment focused weddings have been the driving trend as of late.
Gardens and lovely flowers everywhere to tour at the Denver Botanic Gardens. And I loved that Racheal and Collin’s dinner and cocktail hour was served at the Orangery. Tropical plants and tables set with candles, pretty much a jaw dropping moment for guests finding their seats. So fun and perfect for a summer wedding.
Racheal and Collin, you were both an absolute dream to work with. You had me and Chelsea laughing and tearing up a long with you both through out the day. I could not be more honored to have been part of your gorgeous wedding. Thank you thank you for having me and I’m simply wishing you both the best in your new marriage!
Shout out to the incredible Colorado wedding vendors who helped make this Denver Botanic Garden wedding a huge success for Collin and Racheal. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents!
