Space Gallery | Lindsey Flanigan Courthouse Colorado Wedding | Patrick and Robin
I have two seasons. Wedding season and then blogging season. The work and the hustle goes into wedding season. Any Colorado wedding vendor will tell you that wedding season seems to blink by. And then all winter I’m going through the images and all these beautiful moments I’ve photographed and I’m always struck with the feeling that I can’t believe I get to. Every time I get behind my camera I know its an honor to be there. I know that you’ve gone through and selected your wedding vendors with a fine tune comb and the feeling that I’ve been chosen as your wedding photographer…I don’t take it lightly. So if you are new here to my work and your doing your due diligence in seeing my craft…THANK YOU. I have a dream job because of you. Because you’ve shared my work with your friends and family I get to be part of incredible weddings like Patrick and Robin’s and all the sweet clients I’ve all ready blogged. And I can’t wait to dive into this season’s couples special moments. However that looks to you.
Robin and Patrick were married at the Lindsey Flanigan courthouse in downtown Denver. I had a 45 minute extra contingency plan for what if traffic on a Thursday. Some might say a bit dramatic for a weekday afternoon in Denver. I used EVERY SECOND. I parked and then had to sprint 2 blocks to get to Patrick and Robin’s ceremony. Fortunately, they were also caught in the same traffic haha. The only problem was that I forgot where I parked my car after. I’m still laughing as Kate helped me drive around till we found it. I will now plan an hour of what if traffic.
The family and close friends were all gathered inside seated where juror’s might be. I think they all loved that. Laughing and hugging each other and seeing some of their family for the first time in a few months…I love that about weddings. Here for all the celebrations. Patrick was waiting with the judge and Robin walks in and ALL the happy smiles from everyone. I loved the way these two laughed and smiled and had looks of such appreciation for the other. Cheers ran out through out as the judge announced these two officially MARRIED! The weather decided to be rainy so we were able to use the inside of the courthouse and I loved all the gorgeous architecture through out the building.
A few days later Patrick and Robin had their wedding reception at the Space Gallery in downtown Denver. What an eclectic and cool venue. Art through out the whole building and the outdoor space with creative and inspiring design. Patrick and Robin had two food trucks brough in for dinner. Pizza and Tacos! Then later on in the evening the icecream truck rolled in and guests mingled outside to get a sweet cool down before dancing the night away. Such a fun week of celebrating Patrick and Robin and their unique Colorado Wedding!
