Spruce Mountain | Lower Ranch | A Colorado Wedding
Ahhh, all that warm sunshine. That is how I would describe this beautiful wedding for Tym and Jillian at Spruce Mountain. September is the perfect month to get married in Colorado. The weather is usually perfection. I mean, it is still Colorado so you never know lol but for Tym and Jillian…pure sunshine. I have to say that Spruce Mountain has some of the best getting ready rooms for couples. The light that filters through windows with the soft chandelier lighting…so many options for wedding photographers. The same could be said for where Tym and his crew got ready, it lends itself a little darker but the available light that filters through is magic.
I adored the way these two loved each other so easily. No stress at all the entire day…at least none that could be seen by me and Chelsea. I loved that they chose to see each other before the wedding ceremony which allows them SO much more time together. Your wedding day will go by so quickly and having extra time with your wedding party and your spouse is always time well spent in my opinion. I also love that it allows for a more private moment when you see the your husband or wife with out all the guests and their well intentioned cell phones. 😉 I think one of my favorite things about weddings is how much I learn about a couple during the toasts. I love how couples lean into each other and are so in the moment…and that is what I can say about these two. They just naturally lean into the other.
The ceremony site for Spruce Mountain at the Lower Ranch up into the fields is so breathtaking. You have to take a van up to the site and then on foot you walk through scrub oaks that open into this beautiful wide open space for couples to share their vows at. One of my favorite sites for weddings in Colorado. And it needs to be said, Jillian’s brother did an an amazing job being the flower man. SO much flare haha.
Dancing underneath the market lights and a sweet bubble exit and this was a wedding to remember. Jillian and Tym surprised me at the end with the coolest ant that holds wine WITH a delicious bottle of wine to go with it. The fact that they took the time to make such a sweet and personal gift had me tearing up right there. THANK you to the both of you for being absolutely dream clients from start to finish. You both are so kind, thoughtful, and beautiful. Thank you for having me and I wish you both the best in your new marriage!
TO the amazing Colorado wedding vendors who helped make this day go so smoothly and beautifully…thank you for being awesome to work with!
