Nestled among the breathtaking sandstone formations, Amanda and Matt celebrated their wedding at the Red Rocks Trading Post in Morrison, Colorado — and it was every bit as magical as you might imagine. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, their day was intimate, heartfelt, and filled with laughter from start to finish.

The ceremony took place overlooking the iconic red rocks, the golden light of the Colorado sun casting a warm glow over the couple as they exchanged vows. It was one of those moments that reminds me why I love being a Colorado Wedding Photographer — the landscape, the emotion, the way love and nature blend together so effortlessly.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed dinner on the lawn facing the stunning rock formations. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful — lawn games, soft music, and the sound of clinking glasses echoing through the canyons. Amanda and Matt thought of every detail, from cozy blankets for guests as the evening cooled to the most thoughtful wedding favors — custom mason jar dill pickles made from their very own garden! It was such a sweet and personal touch that reflected their love for homegrown goodness and their creativity as a couple.

While guests mingled and enjoyed the fire, we wandered up into the rocks for portraits. The golden hour light wrapped around Amanda’s lace gown and Matt’s classic suit, creating some of my favorite images of the day. Photographing couples in love against the dramatic backdrop of Red Rocks is always a dream, and Amanda and Matt’s energy made every photo come alive.

As the night continued, dancing kicked off under the stars — barefoot twirls, laughter, and the kind of joy that lights up an entire evening. The celebration ended with a playful bubble exit, a perfect reflection of their fun and carefree spirits.
