Bobby and Jessica | Spruce Mountain Wedding | Colorado Wedding Photographer

May 21, 2013

They met online.  To me, that seems like finding a needle in a hay stack. What are the odds…apparently high, but seriously, finding your soul mate in a place among thousands upon thousands of people.   Such a beautiful relationship to watch as its so apparent how happy this couple is. Bobby would make Jessica laugh constantly….but what I loved…the moment he saw her walk down the aisle.  Nothing else mattered…just her.  And it was so beautiful to see Jessica looking back at him with the same expression.  I’m listening to the song, All I’ve Ever Needed by Paul McDonald and Nikki Reed…and if nothing else it reminds me that love is such a gift…to be able to observe and photograph such an important day…a beginning of someone else s start to the rest of their life…ah, I’m blessed.

Loved that this wedding had so many details that incorporated things that were relevant to this couple.  Touches of Chicago and Colorado…the soil used from Illinois and Colorado for their unity tree,   Grandmas quilts and chalkboards through out the reception and for the ceremony, gorgeous tones of blue with hydrangeas and tea lights that graced the whole reception area,  the cake stand made by Jessica’s Dad…so amazing…such a beautiful display for a beautiful cake.  And Riley their dog made an appearance as the ring bearer during the ceremony.  A wedding to remember.  Jessica and Bobby…best wishes and it was such an honor for me and Jen to photograph your beautiful day.
