A surprise elopement.  Well, it was well planned out by Mike and Becky several months ago.  They were having a family reunion in Colorado Springs and decided…hey the whole family is here…lets surround ourselves with the beautiful Garden of the Gods and our loved ones and get married.   So they flew in Thursday, had an amazing dinner planned and told them they were engaged and handed them a save the date for September 21, 2013.  At first they thought next year…but THEN ahhh, the happy tears and excitement began.   At 10am in the middle of rock walls a family surrounded Mike and Becky and watched them say their vows and promise each other forever.  It was beautiful.  Not only because of the breath taking views but because of the amazing heart felt day it was.   You take away, all the crazy details, the church, and it will always be that moment…that moment where you look at your spouse and you commit to be there for each other for better or worse.  And its beautiful every time to me.  Loved that this wedding was completely about this.  I feel incredibly honored to have been chosen to photograph such a beautiful elopement.  Thank you again Becky and Mike…if I’m ever in Florida I’m looking you guys up!  🙂  Congrats!!
