I remember sitting across this couple at my office (aka starbucks) . Joe had asked me what sets me apart from other photographers. While I might not remember my response to that…I remember what he said after I responded, well, I don’t see any reason not to hire you. I was like, wait, really, you’re ready right now? Haha…it was one of the easiest interviews I’ve had to date. From that point on they were simply an amazing couple to work with. Their engagement session, emails, phone calls and to their wedding day, they showed what kind of couple they were. Kind, caring, gracious, and funny. Their wedding day, they made us sit down, enjoy the scenery and relax for a few. Jen and I looked at each other and said, is this real life? Haha. Not that we are not treated amazingly for weddings…just that they went over and and beyond. We definitely felt like guests to this sweet wedding.
I loved that their wedding was about their family and a few of their closest friends. A small intimate gathering underneath the cottonwoods on a gorgeous golf course. I watched as their friends cried, their family hugged them and toasted them with amazing heart felt words of encouragement. This is a couple that is so obviously adored. I am beyond honored to have photographed their wedding!
Enjoy a few of my favorites.
I have more on my facebook page as well:
Also, at the end of this post are all the amazing vendors that helped make this day special for Ashley and Joe.
Thank you again Ashley and Joe. You are a dream couple to have worked for. <3
