Denver Engagement Shoot | Mt. Falcon | Nick and Christine

August 30, 2017

Mt. Falcon is easily becoming one of my favorite places to shoot at.  Gorgeous mountain views, big tall trees, amazing open fields and an occasional wild flower here and there.  I met Nick and Christine in the parking lot and they had their camping gear all ready to go.  Haha…I was like wait…are we doing an adventure session?  I admit I had some gear envy at their awesome back packs.  It was for the outfit changes and they said they didn’t mind changing in the woods.  Gosh…I love this couple.  They were just so carefree and up for whatever.  They admitted they were nervous to begin but ended up realizing that I’m kind of an awkward, laugh at her own jokes kind of person and they had fun.  ALWAYS, that is my goal.  I want it to be a fun experience.  I know just how nerve wracking it can be to have a camera in front of you.  Trying to figure out how to smile or rock a blue steel at random is tough on anyone’s nerves.   I love engagement sessions because it gives me a good chance to see how my couples interact.  Also, if they laugh with me that is serious bonus points.  I’m kidding.  But I adored the way Nick always had a hand out to help Christine anywhere we went.  Or the way she would laugh and randomly kiss Nick because she was just so happy…this was a beautiful session for me because of the way these two interacted together.  I could tell just how perfect they were for each other.  Balancing each other out in a sweet way as well as their obvious friendship.  I simply can not wait for their wedding day.  I know we are going to have a ton of fun celebrating their vows.  For now, here are a few of my favorites from their session.  If you’d like to see more head on over to my facebook page by clicking on my name here:
