Palmer Lake Colorado Engagement
What a fun session! I had been scouting around Palmer Lake the week before Sarah and Christian’s engagement session and came across this forest by accident. I love when that happens. Its always amazing to me just how stunning Colorado is and how many places we can go to see its beauty. Whether its a long drive into the mountains or just out your back door, you simply can’t deny Colorado is amazing.
Sarah and Christian wanted to have their engagement session at Palmer Lake as this was a place that symbolized their serious intentions with each other. At the end of that amazing date they had ice cream at Palmer Lake’s ice cream shop called Rock House Ice cream. And I loved that we went back to finish their engagement session there. AND that they treated me to ice cream…haha…okay, that might be the real reason I loved going there. 😉 As I was photographing them, I asked Christian how he met Sarah. And it was at a Starbucks…he was the customer and she was the barista. Smitten. He was smitten on sight of her. He was trying to get the courage to get her number when she walked out. Fortunately, she forgot something and ran back in and he took the chance and got her number. AHHH, that felt like a movie opening scene when the told me how they met. I love stories like that. Where two people are obviously meant to be together and they find each other in a random place like this. And watching the way the two of them interacted and laughed with each other its obvious that they adore each other. I simply can not wait for their beautiful wedding in May! Christian and Sarah, congrats again. I loved working with both of you! For those of you that have read this far, I have more images up on my facebook page. You can check that out here,
