Tapestry House Colorado Wedding | Leah and Zack
I had never photographed a wedding at Tapestry House before Leah and Zack’s gorgeous day. You pull into the parking lot and you are surrounded by all these gorgeous trees. Cottonwoods, gorgeous floral landscaping and then you see this beautiful house. Or mansion haha…but its eclectic and charming and pulls a vintage vibe for me. I loved all the detailing on the trim work at the Tapestry House. The ceremony site sits right next to it and once again you have these beautiful tall trees that seem to overlook and shade most of the site. The reception was an amazing place for guests to walk through the gardens and play lawn games.
Leah and Zack, what a fun couple to spend the day with! I have to say one of my absolute favorite things about their day was just how much their fur baby played a role. They had him for a few hours with one of their guests helping out and taking him back home after his modeling debut. And gosh, he LOVED the camera. I hope to see more of my couples have their puppies even if its just an hour! Have a friend take them back home after and then you’ll get to have the cutest portraits without the stress of worrying about him/her during your wedding. But back to Leah and Zack, not only are they amazing animal owners but they both had such a great relationship with their parents. I love seeing that. I loved how Leah and her parents had such a special bond. That first look with her Dad will definitely be one of my favorites. Leah had these portraits drawn up from older photographs of her childhood. I could see that Father of the Bride movie where they see a little girl in front of them and then a flash and its their wedding day. SO many beautiful emotions. Especially during the ceremony. Leah and Zach’s happiness just leaps off of all their images and it was so fun going back and reliving their beautiful day at the Tapestry House.
