Cheyenne Mountain Resort Colorado Wedding | Lakyn and Taylor
What a gorgeous couple and day to photograph! Cheyenne Mountain Resort is an amazing destination wedding in Colorado and overlooks Pikes Peak and the front range. Sunsets are pure magic here and Lakyn and Taylor had the most BEAUTIFUL wedding ceremony on the golf course. They opted for a later ceremony and the timing was just perfect for lighting during their vows.
Chelsea and I arrived earlier in the day and started with the ladies getting ready. Music was playing, chick-fil-a and mimosa’s offered, Friends mugs…gosh the vibe was absolute happiness. I loved that Lakyn had such a huge friend group that she surrounded herself during the wedding. It was obvious what a strong friendship she’s had with all of them. Each of them were an incredible source of encouragement for Lakyn through out the day. While the ladies were finishing up getting ready we headed over to photograph Taylor and his groomsmen. AHH, style, so much style in Taylor’s beautiful custom suit by Indochino and his Louboutin shoes. Taylor and Lakyn brought the glamor to this wedding. Taylor and the groomsmen were easy to hang out with and photograph. Taylor’s best man was his brother and I loved their easy friendship. It was easy to see how these to so clearly support the other.
Taylor and Lakyn opted to see each other for the first time down the aisle on their wedding day. I loved the beautiful emotion in that moment. As well as having their wedding officiant be a close friend it made for such a personal ceremony. Gosh their beautiful vows to each other had me tearing up. It also didn’t hurt that they had the best views and gorgeous soft sunlight. What a gorgeous day for a ceremony at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour out on the courtyard again taking advantage of those gorgeous Colorado mountain views.
Beautiful toasts, dancing and photo booths went full into the night. The celebration that day for Lakyn and Taylor was amazing to be part of!
