Brooke and Kellen | The Pinery at Black Forest | Denver Wedding Photographer

November 3, 2015

How do I describe this wedding?  I’m sitting here typing then retyping how I want to describe it.  I want to say it was a glamorous black tie wedding…but it doesn’t express how I felt about their day.  Yes, everyone was dressed so beautifully, the decor was amazing and dripping with beautiful floral details.  Ah, but the families and friends that came to celebrate with Brooke and Kellen, they made the wedding feel like an intimate gathering.  So much laughter, so many hugs and happy tears.  The toasts…by far some of the most amazing I have ever heard.  I was laughing right a long with everyone there.  I had tears in my eyes listening to Kellen’s friends describe his character.  Or the way Brooke’s sisters expressed so much love and happiness for her.   I loved the way Brooke’s grandparents danced with their spouses.  But mostly, I loved watching Kellen love on Brooke.  Or the way Brooke would laugh up at Kellen…their love was so evident and beautiful to photograph.  And this wedding will always hold a special place with me.    Brooke and Kellen, it was simply an honor for me to have been part of your beautiful wedding.  Here are a few of my favorites from their beautiful wedding day!

otal dorks, who are actually way cooler than me us.  That’s how I’d describe Kellen & Brooke.  They live in the present, and let every life experience wash over them without too many expectations.  They both have a great sense of humor, and like kids, they don’t concern themselves with what will happen next.  They just live and laugh- sometimes at each other. I couldn’t be happier for these two.  K & B were married in front of family and friends at The Pinery in Black Forest.  A cocktail hour and reception immediately followed, as well as amazing toasts, dancing, and of course- plenty of laughter.  A special thanks to Elizabeth Ann Photography for keeping me company and for capturing some great stills.
