Dillon and Debbie | Colorado Engagement | Denver Wedding Photographer

February 3, 2016

Ohhh, I met this sweet couple via facetime…well really it was for 2 seconds as I was having technical difficulties.   In those 2 seconds of seeing them…I knew I wanted them to be my clients.  They were funny, relaxed and down to earth.  My kind of people.  After spending time with them for their engagement session in 15 degree weather…I knew even more that I really enjoyed hanging out with them.  We hiked around, froze our fingers, or legs for Debbie…umm, she wins for being the toughest.  Dillon had found this place in the summer when he would go fly fishing.  It was so beautiful for an engagement session.   Jaw dropping views of the mountains, big tall pine trees, aspens and a random cabin in the woods.  This was so what I think of for Colorado.   The snow blowing through the trees with the sunlight…just gorgeous.

I loved how Dillon would wrap an extra jacket around Debbie…or ask if she was okay, warm enough…just in general taking care of her.  I love that Debbie has the most incredible smile and that when I remarked on it…Dillon said, one of the many reasons I love her.  So yes, this couple, it was beyond special to photograph them.  And I simply can not wait for their beautiful wedding in September.  Here are few favorites from that crazy cold and snowy afternoon.
