Woodland Park Engagement | Denver Wedding Photographer

The story of how Cody and Lauren came to be my clients is a fun one.  Or I should say it seems like it was definitely meant to be.  I was photographing a wedding in May up in Evergreen Lakehouse (click on the link HERE) and Cody and Lauren were touring the Haven where my clients were getting ready.  They asked if they could just pop in and take a look at one of the treehouse homes and Christine and Nick when they found out were in the process of planning their wedding said…OMG hire Elizabeth she’s our photographer and you’ll love her.  I never got to meet them day.  Fast forward a few more months later when Lauren was dress shopping and the lady at the Bridal Collection told Lauren to check out my work.  THEN when Lauren was looking at a florist…same thing…the florist mentioned my name.  SO, after all that, we get on the phone and I new it was going to be an easy friendship…relationship.  It felt right.  I love that.  I love that the friendships I build in my clients and the community brings about the best clients for me.

So for Lauren and Cody’s engagement photos we chose Woodland Park.  They wanted mountains and gorgeous views and I said…do you trust me?  Because I found a place I haven’t photographed in a LONG time and I’d love to go back with you guys.  And they said…tell us when and we will be there. I love that.  We explored and hiked and we hit Woodland Park just as the last of the fall leaves were there.  Perfect timing.

You guys!  I can’t wait to share some of their beautiful engagement photos with you!  If you are just checking my work out you can also find me on my facebook page:

Stunning pictures you have there. The number one picture that I love is the ring dropping to the bride’s hand. Lovely backdrop with mother nature and well captured.
