Garden of the Gods Engagement | Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer
So we chose to go in at sunrise for Holly and Charlie’s beautiful Garden of the Gods engagement session. Colorado Springs wins at epic places to shoot at and Garden of the Gods is def. a place to shoot at. You can come here and photograph it differently every time. I’ve recently been on a mission to showcase my city and all its glory so that those Denver clients of mine see where its at. Haha. Jk jk…both are wonderful.
So we met in the dark, hiked up a few trails, scrambled over boulders and watched the sun rise together. We had maybe been overly ambition and arrived at our destination earlier than I thought…so we also got to have that beautiful color just before sunrise. We sat around and got to know each other until the sun finally made its appearance. It was such a beautiful moment. Everyone who knows me knows I LOVE sunset…but sunrise equally magical. Something about getting started in the dark and the light starting your session instead of the other way around…well, it gave me all the feels. 😉 Not only that, but it was incredibly easy being with Holly and Charlie. I loved how easy our conversation was, how much they laugh together and how relaxed and down to earth they were. I mean to ask a couple to climb up boulders before really knowing each other says easy adventurous couple to me. Haha. I always wonder what people say AFTER their session with me. 😉 Holly and Charlie are at first glance easily incredibly beautiful couple. Its true. But what I loved about them was how humble and fun they were! I simply can not wait for their beautiful wedding in the fall! I know we will have an incredible time and I love that we had such an awesome engagement session to build on! Congrats again Holly and Charlie. Such an honor to have been part of your beautiful engagement session! Can not wait for your wedding at the Pinery!
